Vintners.net: SSH use

Interactive shell access to the Vintners.Net host machines will no longer be allowed via 'telnet' as of Nov-2001. You must use an 'ssh' implementation for this access.

Assuming you use a Microsoft Windows based client, there are excellent freeware applications for this purpose available.
• Although I used to use Teraterm; homepage:
  Teraterm Home Page I no longer do, as iIt seemed to be unable to connect without having 'telnet' services available which defeats the whole purpose.
  
• I use (recommend) Putty Home Page. Simply download the executable and run it, taking the SSH option.
