Spring is in the air!  We have lots of news so here goes.......

The winery will henceforth be open Friday thru Monday
10:30a.m.-5:00p.m.  We have added an extra day to our schedule.  Very
soon, July 1st to be exact, David will become a full time employee of
the winery!  Yahoo!  We currently have 7000 gallons of wine which
David has to take care of, especially since Linda refuses to learn how
to drive the forklift.

Currently, we are bottling, bottling, bottling....for all you Fran's
fans, she's in the bottle.  Just a touch sweeter and a delightful new
combo of Zin Rose and Late Harvest Riesling.  To be bottled in the
next few weeks, 1997 Chardonnay, 1996 Elerding Cabernet Sauvignon, and
all 50 cases of our 1996 Merlot.

New releases: 1995 Reserve Merlot, as tasty as the regular with a
smooth and creamy mouth feel available for a mere $20.95 btl.  Also, a
1995 Cabernet Sauvignon with black cherries, anise, oak and a touch of
cassis on the nose, $19.95 btl. (only 100 cases made).

BIG NEWS.... We are in the beginning process of getting the new
building.  It will be our production and barrel storage facility.  The
original building will be case storage and tasting room, hopefully
without so many fruit flies to guard your wine from at harvest!  We
have a beautiful new sign on the winery and a new one coming for the
road.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
April 17-19   Pre Barrel Tasting - for our special customers/barrel
              taste w/o the crowds. 

April 24-26   Spring Barrel Tasting - joyfully busy with a food vendor
              on premise.

May 23rd      Merlot and Ribs Tasting - Any of you who came to this
event last year know how delicious Doug's baby back ribs and chicken
are.  It was a sell out! We have tables on the crush pad and you can
buy a bottle of Merlot to swill with your ribs.  We will offer a special
price on our Merlot for the day so come and get your fair share.

June 27th     Wineglass Cellars Anniversary Celebration - We do not have
any specifics on this yet, however, it will also be the celebration of
David's last working day for IBM.  We intend to have a BIG PARTY!
Look for a postcard with details in a month or two.

We hope to have the winery set up for the boys to do tours this summer
although with new construction I can't guarantee it.  Have a great
