1995 SYRAH, Burgess Vineyard    price $18.00
Our first Syrah and a wonderful successor to our 1994 Grenache.  This wine
has all the characteristics that will make Syrah Washington's next Merlot.
Dense color, plentiful but soft tannins, black cherry and plum aromas
combined with cinnamon, clove and vanilla from oak-aging with a hint of
pepper and earthiness.  Best consumed in 5-10 years.  103 cases produced,
limited availability.

1994 JTW'S PORT                 price $20.00
Named after our son, Joshua, this vintage is a blend of equal amounts of
Burgess Cabernet Sauvignon and Red Willow Lemberger.  Aged 30 months in
oak, it was bottled in May 1997.  Inky dark color, big tannins, raspberry,
chocolate, black cherry & plum, cedar, vanilla and earth all reflect the
warm, small-berried and intense 1994 vintage.  19% alc., 8% residual
sugar.  Only 80 cases (750 ml) produced, very limited quantity.
