History:
Mike Paul originally planted 3 acres of Cabernet Franc grapes, grafted onto AR-1 rootstock, under the name of Joseph R. Paul & Sons Vineyard. The grapes were intended for the use of Leonetti Cellar, as Mike had known Gary Figgins for several years at that time. After four years, Mike began making his own wines from his grapes. He was already experienced in making wines, having made wines from Concord grapes in his youth. Mike continues to work at Continental Can Company, dedicating more time to the winery each year.
