Dear Subscribers and loyal McCrea fans,

We hope the year 2000 has been as good to you as it's been for us.  The
2000 vintage is in the barrel and tank, and the quality is exceptional.
We didn't think it could get any better than '99, but look out for the
'00!

As many of you know, we release wines twice a year (Autumn and Spring) --
usually November 1 and May 1.

This year, for the first time, we are preselling all wines at release.

This means that by the end of November, every case of newly-released wine
will be sold or promised.  We will do the same with the wines we release
in May of 2001.  We've tried to avoid the "allocation game", but demand
for Doug's wines continues to growm and preselling is the fairest wasy we
know to give everyone the opportunity to own some.  Please review the
enclosed price list and contact me as soon as possible with your order --
no later than November 15, 2000.

For those of you who loved the 1994 Syrah "American Oak" bottling, pay
particular attention to the 1999 Syrah "Amerique" on your price list.
This will sell out quickly, so order soon.

Our website is currently under construction -- www.mccreacellars.com.  We
hope to have it active some time in early 2001.
