Tasting room building

Production: (1997) ~3000 cases/year, and climbing
Vineyards: five acres of Riesling, Chardonnay and Merlot.

History:
The vineyards were planted in 1983 by Don and Joel Flerchinger and the first vintage of Riesling was produced in 1987. After several years of successful winemaking and many awards, the new winery was built in 1994.

Of special note:
The 1994 vintage of cabernet sauvignon won the best of show at the 1997 Newport Seafood and Wine Festival.

The winery and grounds are the sight of many social functions including weddings, receptions, dinnners and parties.
