The L.A. judging is North America's largest and has been named by USA Today as one of the top 5 wine competitions in the country. This is full-bodied Cabernet Franc from the magical Chelle den Pleasant vineyard in Prosser. It is blended with just a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon from Pepper Bridge vineyard in Walla Walla and 30 year old vines from the Sagemoor vineyard near the Tri- Cities. The wine has deep ruby color, superb balance, a rich long finish and a nose reminiscent of dark cherry and berries wrapped in toasted oak. Barrister Winery produces small quantities of Bordeaux varietal wines and syrah. Barrister's total production this year will be 800 cases. Most of our wines are sold through our mailing list. A limited quantity is available at the winery and in a select number of Spokane and Seattle's finest restaurants. Founded in a garage in 2001 by two attorney/winemakers, Barrister Winery is located in the historic Davenport Arts District in downtown Spokane, Washington.
